SeafoodDirectory.com releases four online seafood directories-Biddeford, ME

The four websites – lobstersuppliers.com, crabsuppliers.com, salmonsuppliers.com and scallopsuppliers.com provides seafood buyers with free access to information on the industry’s leading and most trusted suppliers. The websites, which all appear at the top of Google search rankings, make it easier for buyers to identify supplier companies by specie. “If I happen to know your company’s name I’ll find you in a second,” says CEO Neal Workman “but if not, when searching online by species the internet is poorly organized.”

All suppliers listed in the directories are pre-screened and rated to provide buyers with accurate and trustworthy supplier information. Workman, who has developed a number of print directories for the seafood industry as Founder and former CEO of Seafax, points out, “Globally the United States imports 70% of its seafood. Not all suppliers are created equal and the virtual world makes it nearly impossible to tell the good from the bad. Having a resource buyers can trust is essential.” In addition to vetting the directory, each website gathers and distributes time sensitive sales leads.

The websites can be accessed by going to www.seafooddirectory.com or individually by species.

In August, the company relocated its offices from Boston to the North Dam Mill in Biddeford, Maine.
