Some say we have no parking problem — do you agree?

Parking is one of the more emotional issues for those living and working in downtown Biddeford. Join us Thursday night and tell Biddeford officials what’s on your mind.

Consulting firm Winton Scott Architects of Portland will present potential solutions for Biddeford’s downtown parking problem at a public meeting on Thursday at 6.m. The meeting will be in the City Council chambers. According to a recent article in the Journal Tribune, plans include proposed parking structures in the privately-owned mill district, and/or on the city-owned parking lot on Washington Street. One or both structures could be built in phases, or all at once.

The collective voices of those in the Pepperell Mill Campus/North Dam Mill communities are a significant constituency within the City of Biddeford. If you have an opinion on this topic, this would be a great opportunity to let city leaders know how you feel. See you there!
