Biddeford Mills Museum rolls out plan for new exhibit

The Biddeford Mills Museum announced a partnership with Maine Historical Society on Tuesday evening, and presented their plans to jointly launch a new exhibit at the mills in Biddeford. The exhibit will be in the Pepperell Center, the building of the Pepperell Mill Campus that has Portland Pie Company. Plans for the exhibit include a restored steam engine that’s already in place in the lobby of the Pepperell Center, as well as multiple exhibit stations and walls with graphics that will tell the story of our mill’s history. The exhibits in the lobby will be moveable for large public events that are held in the Pepperell Center.

The Biddeford Mills Museum and Maine Historical Society have been planning this exhibit for months, and we applaud their efforts! This new exhibit will tell the story of Biddeford’s history for years to come.

Check out the renderings below to see what the space will look like in the near future!
